Yovaan Ilangakoon Biography

Yovaan qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2012 and has since dedicated his career to developing a refined, modern approach to cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Over the years he has completed an extensive range of advanced postgraduate courses, enabling him to offer patients high-level aesthetic treatments supported by sound clinical foundations.

His philosophy is to use contemporary, minimally invasive techniques to create healthy, natural-looking smiles that enhance a patient’s confidence without compromising the long-term strength of their teeth. Yovaan is a Platinum Invisalign provider and has delivered full smile transformations for hundreds of patients, combining orthodontics, composite bonding and other cosmetic treatments to achieve natural, balanced results.

Yovaan lives in South Oxfordshire with his wife and their two daughters. Away from the practice, he is a keen sportsman, regularly playing cricket and golf, and spends much of his weekend following his football team.

Jonathan Roberts Biography

Jonathan is a highly valued member of the Your Dentist in Thame team. In addition to offering comprehensive general dentistry, he also has a special interest in endodontics, implants and oral surgery.

Living locally with his wife, Jonny is passionate about sports in his free time, enjoying football, squash and running.

Satveer Sangha Biography

Satveer is a skilled general and cosmetic dentist with a special interest in restorative dentistry and smile makeovers. He has completed a range of advanced training and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Aesthetic Dentistry at the prestigious King’s College London.

He takes a patient-centred, minimally invasive approach to care, with a strong focus on achieving natural, long-lasting results. Satveer has also been recognised with an award for his work in endodontics.

Outside of dentistry, Satveer enjoys restoring classic cars, staying active through the gym and sports, and travelling with his wife.

Lovepreet Heer  Biography

Dr Lovepreet Heer graduated with her BDS qualification in 2019 from Barts and the London school of medicine and dentistry. Since then, she has been on a path to enhance her skills, as well as enrolling in postgraduate studies, whilst practicing dentistry. Her approach to holistic patient care, as well as her passion for rebuilding confidence in her patients’ smiles, has led to her warm and welcoming reputation. She has focused on developing her skills within both restorative and cosmetic dentistry, as well as facial aesthetics, allowing her to provide a full face approach to her treatment planning.

Kavit Kotecha Biography

Kavit graduated from the University of Birmingham and has since gained extensive experience in both primary and secondary care settings. His career has provided valuable exposure to complex oral surgery procedures as well as general dentistry.

Driven by a passion for endodontics, Kavit went on to complete a Master’s degree in the field, achieving a Merit. He now limits his practice exclusively to root canal treatment, aiming to provide patients with exceptional outcomes and a comfortable, confident experience when saving their natural teeth.

Outside of dentistry, Kavit is married to his wife—whom he met on his very first day at university—and they have a beautiful young daughter who keeps them on their toes! When time allows, Kavit enjoys the outdoors, running, and playing squash.

Frances Shatwell Biography

Frances qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2011 and has developed a special interest in oral surgery. She has worked in a variety of oral surgery and community dental roles, leading to her working solely in oral surgery at the John Radcliffe Hospital and with Oxfordshire’s Community Dental Service.

Frances carries out oral surgery at the practice, providing expert tooth removal with a calm, gentle and highly sympathetic approach. She is particularly skilled at supporting nervous patients and is committed to delivering safe, comfortable care with excellent clinical outcomes.

Ali Rifai Biography

Dr Rifai is an implant expert who’s dedicated to restoring his patients’ confidence with full and beautiful smiles. He graduated from the prestigious Bart’s and The London School of Dentistry in 2008.

Ali has placed over 1000 implants to date, from single units to complex cases requiring bone grafting and “teeth in a day” treatments.

Ali is a dedicated lifelong learner, having completed advanced restorative courses at the Spear Institute in Arizona and trained with the best in São Paulo.

His expertise is extensive. He’s a full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD), the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), and the International Team for Implantology (ITI). So, you know you’re in the best hands for your implant needs.

When he’s not transforming smiles, you can find him playing tennis, getting out on the golf course, or spending quality time with his family.

Katie Williamson Biography

Katie has been in Dentistry for 12 years and is still as passionate about her job. She enjoys building relationships with patients so that she can help them improve their oral health.

Katie lives locally with her husband and 2 children. She enjoys spending time with her young family and travelling.

Kezia Harris Biography

Kezia started her dental career in 2010, following in the footsteps of her parents. She started as a Dental Nurse and then went on to qualify as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist in 2018. Kezia has a great interest in non-surgical periodontal treatment and educating patients on the best ways to improve their oral health. She has a gentle approach and aims to make everyone feel at ease, helping make anxious patients feel more relaxed in the dental environment.

Kezia enjoys big and small adventures with her partner and little girl, Auraelia.

Anisah Nawaz

Anisah qualified as a Dental Hygienist & Therapist at The University of Essex in 2018.

She has worked in a number of practices and has experience dealing with all pts especially nervous pateints.

Anisah is able to carry out restorative dentistry and extractions, periodontal treatment, implant treatment and Airflow.

Shara Ware Biography

Shara qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2020.

She has worked as a head nurse in a number of practices and brings a wealth of experience around dental compliance. Shara is also passionate about training and look after our new nurse training and induction programme

Lauren is currently completing her dental nurse training and is enthusiastic about expanding her skills and knowledge in the field. With six years of industry experience, she brings valuable insight and a strong work ethic to the team. Lauren is passionate about delivering excellent patient care and is eager to make a positive impact within the practice.
